Hand history files created by iPoker poker rooms sometimes have errors in them. We’ve reported this to iPoker and hope that they’ll eventually fix this.
For now, we try to detect these errors and automatically correct them. Sometimes these problems are hard to auto-correct. In these cases, you’ll see the wrong winnings.
If you do find a large error in the winnings we show for an iPoker hand, feel free to report it to us. To do:
- Right-click on the hand in our Recent Hands screen,
- Select Copy Raw Hand History Text.
- Paste the hand into an email and send it to us. Make sure to tell us what you expected your winnings to be.
As problems like this get reported to us, our developer adds them to our test hands and tries to find a workaround. As you can imagine, this is not always easy and is not always possible. Here is an example of a hand history for which we are not able to add a workaround:
the hand history doesn’t state that the hero’s all-in bet wasn’t called, and returned to the hero.
We’ve tried to auto-correct for this in the past, but the problem is too fundamental. iPoker hand histories are simply broken in this situation.
Until iPoker fixes this, there’s nothing we can do and we recommend you contact iPoker directly to report the issue.
